My passion for photography goes back to when I was a child. My father had a home studio and I would sit in the studio for hours while he photographed brides, dancers, prom goers, new moms and basically anyone who wanted to have their picture taken. We would then go to the dark room and I would watch as my "mad scientist" father would take some chemicals, mix and match and presto chango a blank piece of paper would suddenly be transformed into a moment in a person's life.
Throughout the years, as my love for photography grew, I started to study all the images around me. And as I looked at images that other people captured, I noticed that often times the moment was captured, however, the emotion of that moment was missing. So, my new mission was to capture an emotion in every headshot or portrait I captured. Getting that emotion is not always easy, but I like to think I can make my subject forget they are in front of a camera and in the moment.
If you are ready to capture who you are and what story you have to tell in a single image, let me help you. If, as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, let's stop talking and let's start shooting.
